It is with heavy hearts that we commemorate the life and legacy of our beloved Founding Member, Michael G. Wolff. Over the course of more than two decades, Michael served as a dedicated Bankruptcy Trustee in the state of Maryland. His meticulous and earnest fulfillment of his responsibilities was a testament to his unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and competence. This dedication earned him not only the deep respect and trust of his clients but also the admiration of his peers in the legal community.

Michael’s influence extended far beyond the borders of our local legal community. His bankruptcy practice achieved national recognition, featured prominently in numerous prestigious publications. This recognition was a reflection of his outstanding legal acumen and unwavering commitment to ethical conduct. He was bestowed with the AV rating – the highest accolade awarded for legal ability and ethics – by the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, a testament to his exceptional professionalism.

In addition to his professional achievements, Michael contributed to the legal community through his active memberships in various associations, including the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association (where he served as Vice Chair from 2006-2007 and Chairman from 2007-2008 in the Consumer Bankruptcy Section), the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
